canal street condominiums
In 2007 the Delier Co. was retained by George E. Michael & Co. to do the interior design for the Canal Street Condominium models in New Hope PA. To completely furnish a 3000 square foot luxury condominium was not within the builder’s budget. So the challenge was to cost effectively design the model without degrading the interior plan. Using small vignettes of furnishings and visual displays, we created an allusion of a furnished townhouse. This approach also gave us the flexibility to create multiple interior styles.
New Hope has a diverse population which would suggest the townhouses will attract a mixed age group with different interests and a variety of lifestyles. To appeal to a significant number of potential buyers with distinct backgrounds we created three interior interpretations, each with a unique style. Prospective buyers would have a choice and could visualize a furnished residence that would fit their level of comfort.
Each design plan is presented throughout the model using visual displays with small vignettes exhibiting a specific collection of furnishings. Every exhibit has a full color rendering with floor plans showing the placement of furniture which is coordinated with fabrics and wood finish samples. Three completely furnished townhouses are portrayed with three extraordinary interior environments.
bucks county reserve
“The epitome of casual elegance.” The style is reminiscent of earlier time in Bucks County, but adapted to today’s living standards. The rooms are resplendent with American, English and French antique reproductions, handmade of mahogany, walnut and other reclaimed woods. Warm leathers and fabrics with printed waterfowl. pheasants and quail cover overstuffed upholstery and form fashionable window treatments. The atmosphere is tasteful yet informal while maintaining a sense of comfort and functionality.

urban lux
Chic urban revival transposed to the country side – warm clear provocative styles with a distinctive edge. This is an environment that offers a soft contemporary feeling with elements of traditional and Asian highlights. The furnishings include reproductions of early 20th century European antiques by Randal Tysinger intermingled with sophisticated yet understated 21st century forms.

new traditional
An atmosphere created with traditional concepts without the tired rules of uptight stiff traditions. Luxury furnishings based on time honored forms, yet without an overpowering point of view. Furniture designed with fresh traditional shapes infused with lacquer colors and chrome accents, hand fitted with rare veneers like chestnut cluster and cerejeira crotch.

The three interior design concepts are only a partial example of the many interior styles that can fit the Canal Street way of life. For those who have a different vision, the Delier Co. can design a custom plan to satisfy their personal objectives.
